About this paper
Our editorial stance
Tinubu 2027 is a supporter publication. We say so plainly, so that readers can weigh what we publish.
Tinubu 2027 covers the campaign of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima for re-election in the presidential election of Saturday 16 January 2027. We support the President, the All Progressives Congress and the City Boy Movement, and our coverage reflects that view.
Where our reporting comes from
Our reports are compiled from public news reports and official statements, including releases from the State House and federal ministries and coverage in Nigerian and international media. Every article ends with a list of the sources it draws on, linked so that readers can check them.
Our rules
- Attribution. Quotes appear only as reported, and are attributed to the person who said them. Claims, such as membership figures or vote targets, are attributed to those who made them.
- No invention. We do not invent quotes, figures, people or events.
- Sources shown. Every report lists and links its sources.
- Caveats included. Where an independent body adds a caution to good news, as the World Bank did on inflation, we report it.
- Corrections. If we get something wrong, we will correct it. Tell us through our contact page.
What we are not
Tinubu 2027 is not an official channel of the Independent National Electoral Commission, the Federal Government or the APC Presidential Campaign Council. For official election information, including voter registration and polling units, consult INEC. For official campaign announcements, consult the party’s own channels.
